Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Tan head, good froth, not much lace Deep deep red. Aroaa is a big smackdown hop, very heavy. Kind of a resiny pine with milder grain malt aromas. Some fruit, maybe pear. Awesome!! Oh wow, dry start, dry sizzly finish. Splendid beer. Thanks Beerprince!

First sip is strong, but it helps you forget this as you go along. Great party beer if you like drunken wrestling matches with buddies. = )

Poured a red with a tan head. Spicy aroma of hops. Very nice bitter citrusy flavor of grapefruit and piney hops. Excellent Stuff!

great beer that lives up to its boast. ruby brown colour, fluffy beige head that has the texture of whipped cream, sheets of sticky sweet lace. sweet malty aroma with a plum note. taste starts of as malt caramel and chocolate, the middle is mellow , fruity and alcoholic, finish is dry and has a surprising hop bite. A big beer in every sense of the term

i thought this was one awesome beer! deep amber color, very thick and frothy head on my bottle that left lacing up the entire glass. nice hoppy and mild citrus flavors. the bitterness in this beer lasts forever (almost literally), but it’s very well-balanced in my opinion.

What can I say? I love hops and this is aggressively hopped. It can be overbearing at times but what hopfiend doesn't like to be bullied by hop intensity.

Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Slightly hazy burnt red with lasting head and layers of lacing down the glass. Very pretty. Aroma of mostly dry malts and pine, some citrus and fruit. Semi-sweet fruity malts upfront, which quickly turns to a very flavorful pine and citrus hop middle, before ending with waves of bitterness. Detect some spiciness from the hops at the end as well. Low carbonation with a full, very smooth body. Finishes quite dry. My first American Strong Ale, but I really like this and want more. Good thing it’s a bomber and I am only half done. I know American Strong Ale is a catch-all, but this one seems halfway between an IPA and an American Barleywine. Also somewhat reminds me of Furious.
