Stone seemed to have my tastes in mind when they concocted this luscious elixir. 22 oz. bottled poured out clear deep amber in color with a tall light tan head. An assertive malt and hop aroma that beckons the imbiber to go ahead, take a swig. The taste is delicious sweet roasted malts cut perfectly with high alpha hops (Chinook-type). This is a full body, full flavor beer that manages an excellent balance. An abundance of lacing was left clinging to the glass. I’m dinging the Overall Rating by 2 since they don’t sell Stone beer in Florida. A re-rate will occur once I can get this locally. Come on Stone, give me my ABA!!!!!! If you are a binge drinker, forget about it. It will tear your stomach to shreds the next day. Arrogant Bastard is what beer drinking is about. Full flavor, great taste and even complements traditional bar foods.
You are probably not worthy so quit salivating. Any poor ratings on this site for this beer are simply posers and not true connoisseurs. biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA

The aroma is amazing, orange and lemon aroma. The hop flavor is of oranges and lemon too. Arrogance is among the finest example of a well (very well) hopped IPA that I have encountered, even on regular trips to Belgium.
How can I buy it in Scotland?

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 18, 2006 Aroma: A prominent to intense hop aroma with a citrusy, floral, perfume-like, resinous, piney, and/or fruity character derived from American hops. Fruitiness, either from esters or hops, is also detected Some alcohol is noted.
Flavor: Hop flavor is high hop character is citrusy, floral, resinous, piney and fruity very high hop bitterness, although the malt backbone supports the strong hop character and provides the best balance. Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium-light to medium-bodied mouthfeel without hop-derived astringency great example geographylists (26), San Diego, California, USA

Stereotypical (for Stone) and delicious grapefruit flavor (isn’t it perfect for citrus-growin’ territory?)...this beer is an enjoyment with every sip! This flavor appears in their IPA and Pale Ale too, but is strongest with Arrogant Bastard. Love this one. It’s not just the weather I love in San Diego...it’s the local brews too!
