Pretty damn good. you have the hops that Stone is known for, but some nice maltiness, and a great hop finish. I love this beer!

I absolutely love this beer. It’s got a nice bite to it. Really beatiful amber/red color. Very hoppy; a beer that you definately have to be in the mood for.

I wish that every registered member of this website didnt fancy themselves as a english major or the possesor of a billion dollar set of nostrils. This beer is great. gorgeous colour.A powerful taste. Perfect for anyone who likes a strong ale that will hang around for a while. But for real, you people need to stop acting like you can smell strawberries in chocolate milk.

On tap and bottle. Great nose. Hoppy and sweet like honeysuckle, caramel and cannabis. Taste the malt at first then let the hops glide over the tongue. Feel the slight alcohol vapor and savor the well balanced hop, malt finish. This is a wonderful brew and is enjoyable every time.

22oz single from Total Wine, River Edge, NJ...pours a nice deep bronze color with a light beige head...nice rich floral aroma with orange-tangerine and pine...taste includes the same with malts and a crisp hoppy presence...smooth mouthfeel and good lacing on the glass...I have to disagree with cheapdark, I liked it...a lot. :o)

I have had this on tap at Hydro Bar & Grill in Calistoga, CA, & in bottle. It is wonderful, rich, flavourful stuff. It has a great texture and head with a strong, rich flavour with a hint of sweetness offsetting the strong hoppy and bitter elements. The result is a pretty good balance despite the fairly strong hops. It’s almost harsh, but maintains the balance, resulting in a tasty, memorable beer.

Excellent beer. Strong aroma of beer (not too hoppy or malty), poured smoothly with creamy head, deep amber color. Initial taste is quite bitter but nutty and slightly citrus flavors develop quickly. Clever bottle too. Wish it was more available on tap around here since I drink a fair bit of it.

Love this stuff,One of my all-time favorites.Very smooth,bitter malt,A+ .Great beer for the winter.
