Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Beee-uuuutiful hop aroma! Like a handful of freshly cut alfalfa! It doesn't blow you away, but it is very well constructed. Gorgeous reddish amber color. Good carbonation, dense tan head. Big full body, lots of malt and lots of hops. The malt hits first, but is quickly surpased the hops. Sharp and earthy, they dominate, but don't overwhelm. Big flavor, long hoppy finish. Well deserved reputation. Not unlike Sierra Nevada Bigfoot.

A very great tasting beer. Strong alcohol content yet is covered up beautifully. Finally got my hands on one of these at Isaac Newton’s in newtown.

Pours dark brown, thick, light head. Aroma of hops and passion fruit. Strong passion fruit and cascade hop flavor with an undercurrent of malt. Spectacular!

Stone is rapidly becoming my favorite brewer. Their irreverant sense of humor, gorgeous embossed bombers, and ass kicking beers add up to a marvelous brewing company. Pours with a great deep brown color, great head, and great lacing. Smells like heavy malt, caramel, cognac, toffee, and slight hops. Tastes extremely malty, with the aforementioned aromas as flavors. This beer is dense and slightly thick on the palate (which is good). Finishes smooth, malty, and hoppy, with a final burst of sweetish malt, slight hops, and fine cognac/scotch. As the label says, "You are not worthy". I liked this one so much that I just ordered a few T-shirts. Stone kicks ass!!

Rich red-copper colour, fluffy tan head. Amazing aroma, mostly hops and pineapple. Taste is very hoppy and malty. Taste like nothing else I’ve tried. A truly great brew, and I’m not even a hophead...many thanks to the guy at Premiere Gourmet who recommended this...lookin forward to trying more Stone brews.

"You’re Not Worthy" - indeed. Shared a bottle of this with a friend as it was $20 in a pub - the menu tried to mimic the label by saying "you won’t be able to afford it!", etc. This is 7.2% but it’s hard to tell until it hits you. Pours dark brown/amber with a faint but sufficient creamy head. Amazing flavor, a complex beer that I feel I’ll find new pieces of the flavor puzzle in for every new bottle. Excellent.

Pours a hazy brown with copper highlights. About an inch of tan foam, consisting of tiny bubbles. Nice lacing, though not count-the-rings. Tart fruit and malt in the aroma. Prominent hops - spicy floral and just plain old bitter. I start to think about them but the malt takes over. Sweet with dark caramel, more dark caramel, and then some dark caramel. There’s a fruitiness in there too - like a dried plum (which sounds nicer than prune). Anyways, let’s go with complex hops and complex malt. All in perfect balance - assuming you want a balance weighted towards hoppiness. With big malt. There is a spicy (white pepper) hops with faint licorice (from the malt) aftertaste. Mustache tickling carbonation and full body. Peppery spicy hops several minutes into the aftertaste.
