There’s something about lots-o-hops that is starting to grow on me, at least in beer styles that should have them there. (In other words, Rogue, quit loading up just about every dang beer with them.) This beer poured a nice ruby red color with a respectable head that provided great lacing. The aroma was rich, hoppy (surprise), and citrusey. The flavor was initially fruity and sweet (rich malt base) with some caramel. It then turned sharply hoppy bitter but somehow quite pleasant. Mouthfeel was carbonated with a fairly heavy body. Call it a strong ale or whatever you want, but this was another nice IPA/double IPA for me. Nice.

The depth of this beer is amazing. The 1st time I tried it the taste was very much overwhelming to be honest. The 2nd time however I enjoyed it to say the least. Even the smallest sip is packed with more flavor then I could discribe. Very long aftertaste, not as bitter as I thought it to be.

Great pour, shared mine with 3 friends but next time I think I ’ll need a private tasting with just me after the kids go to bed. Loved it.

Smells of malt, grapefruit and a bit of pear. Pours a deep copper color with nice bubbly but thick light brown head. Taste is malty and again a citrusy hoppyness that is quite unique. I’m a reborn fan and will drink this often.

On Tap at The Office in Montclair, NJ. My usual there for the last few months along with Harpoon IPA and Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA.

Very nice. Dark, malty, with great complexity and a super hop bite, all in perfect balance. This is a really great beer.

Had this a few times and finally reviewing it. This thing is amazing. Pours a nice dark color and smells like it means business. The flavor come through nice and strong with a very nice finish. It lingers a bit but can be expected with a beast of this nature.

The Brewer is definitely correct when they state this beer is not for beginners! The beer has excellent aroma, appearance and overall complexity of flavor. The hop flavor remains long after the sip is gone and its bold flavor stands up strong against foods and on its own. Well brewed and a beer for real beer drinkers.
