Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

The bottle’s right, you probably won’t like it...at first. But trust me, it grows on you. The more you drink AB, the better you get to know it and the more you notice different flavours. Stone’s over-hype aside, this is undoubtedly a top beer. Just don’t drink it so fast to truly enjoy the flavours.

22ozBomber. Why a score of 5? Because, when i find a beer, that in my opinion, defines a style i give it a perfect score.Aroma is a mix of piney hops and roasted malts. In good light it is a dark ruby red with a nice tan head. Flavor wise it is a solid mix of bitter hops and varying degrees maltiness as it warms up.Very tasty! Medium palate which makes it very drinkable.(maybe my taste buds are dead because of too much IIPA)As far as i am concerned this is one of the best beers in the world which fits the strong ale description perfectly. If i was stuck in an elevator and had a dozen of these i could stay in there for quite a long time before i would start to panic.

Poured dark amber. The menu called it an "amber ale" but I would call it something heavier myself. You can smell the delicious hops from some distance away, luring you in. The taste is strong, but not overwhelming. It feels great in your mouth and goes down smooth. On tap and from the bottle, the Arrogant Bastard is always great. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect beer... from the name to the logo to the way the taste punches you in the face, arrogant bastard does a lot of things right. Some beers with this much flavor can be overpowering and are only good for one or two pints, but this has a nice balance that allows for more enjoyment...I guess you can say it has endurance

Don’t let the name fool you. Nothing is arrogant or by-blow with this choice nectar. This deep auburn colored ale lures you in much like that athletic tomboy girl next door clad in her hoodie. And the stripped down head reminds you of how you’d like to get her. Once you raise the glass close to your face, your nose grabs onto her malty bread dough sweetness. She baits you with her sweet-as-breath flavor and then hooks you with a light bitterness, like a good wry Scottish wit leaves you slaked. As she enters your mouth, her creamy thick full body brings you to seventh heaven, wanting her kiss to last and last. And she delivers with her long finish. This is one authentic Strong American Ale who you can fall in love with each time you date her.

Arrogant Bastard was my introduction to craft beers, and it remains among my very favorites. This is a truly great beer.

Amazing beer. SImply the best thing I’ve had from Stone. It’s like an IPA on steroids. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes this style of beer.

The Bastard pours a deep deep red amber hue to a nice frothy light beige head that laces your glass nicely..aromas of spruce, resin hops, perfume coming through...taste of bitter spicy evergreen trees bushes plants flowers seeds hops hops hops, citrus, very nice I love it..this is what I expected from the bastard, nothing less, beautiful appearance, taste great..The Bastard’s worthy...
