Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

75cl bottle at Bar & Cigar. It poured a dark reddish colour with a medium big creamy white head. The aroma is very hoppy with notes of coffee and some citrus. The flavour is bitter and hoppy, but also has notes of coffee. It has a long, lingering aftertaste.

1 pint 6 oz. Bottle. Pours ruby and lightly cloudy; head is off-white and very long lasting. Aroma: Fruits and yeast dominate the nostrils. Extreamely fizzy and moderately bitter, but the finish is slick and somewhat alcoholic. The flavor tingles through the swallow; a mixture of fruits and hops persuade me to take another taste. Excellant Beer...

Great appearance, fluffy tan head and good lacing. Sweet appley aroma and hops, great mouthfeel and a bitter hop finish. Complex, challenging, but most of all, awesome and gets better with every sip. Could have something to do with the 7.2 ABV as well.

Poured dark red with small head. Smooth taste, slightly bitter. Full bodied flavour with an even level.

One of the best ales I’ve ever had. Deep Dark Ruby with a tan head that sticks around for a while. Nice lacing on the glass. Strong hop sensation of the palate to offset the amount of malt. Nice filling finish.

Bottle from Andonico’s Market. The bottle design is awesome- be sure to read the label. Aroma is complex and inviting, with malt, hops, and even citrus. Pours beautiful deep red with nice lacing and frothy head. Full syrupy body and medium carbonation fill the palate, followed by an impressively well-balanced and loud symphony of hops, bread, nuts, and a hint of chocolate. Alcohol hides in the background. Finish is long and detailed, with lingering hops and bitter grain. This is an impressive and thoroughly enjoyable beer. It’s complex, well-balanced, and even unpredictable. A personal favorite.

Very dark beer that has a great taste. It is a little bitter but its great taste makes up for it. Excellent
