Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Deep amber color, with a finger of white foam. Aromas of citrus, like grapefruit or lemon, and piney hops. The flavor is very IPA like, lots of hops with a bit of a caramel malt backbone. Finish leaves hop flavor in your mouth, something that I really like. Excellent

Pours a DARK brown with tints of amber. Aroma of chocolate, cherries and molasses. Taste is hoppy with malt to match. Very good balance. Slightly bitter finish. Very good beer

It’s that kick you in the mouth beer that makes you say "thank you sir, may i have another?". An intense beer with intense malty and hoppy flavors. You either love it or hate it, and if you’re the latter then you probably dont like beer.

Hoppy and aggressive, but very nice. Dark with little to no head. Nice aroma. Taste of malts and caramel and a bit of pine.

Had this for this first time out of 22oz bottle in Williamsburg VA and just recently found it on tap at Tyler’s Taproom in Durham NC. Looks like a nice, dark brown body with a medium brown color near the edges of the glass. A 1/2’’ creme colored head stuck around for a while, and faded slowly. The smell is of toasted malts and hops. The taste is fantastic. Its malty up front and then it hits you afterwards with the flavorful hops. Overall, a great beer.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass The color is a deep red almost a maroon color with a foamy white, brownish head. The smell is of oats, strong and bitter, hard to place but the outgoing main aroma. The taste is bitter, strong bitterness taste the first taste buds and throws them for a wallop. The hops in the background sit on the already busy tongue till it bring about tastes that were never expected from a beer such as this. The real puzzle that is Arrogant Bastard is the taste. It is hard by sweet at the same time. Hard going down but sweet till the last drop. Just the experience a good micro fan must have.

Pours a deep amber/reddish-brown with off white head. Highly aromatic, strong with tons of flavor, definitely a hop bitterness to it, but balanced with the malt and grains. An “in your face” beer. Medium body, pleasant, slightly sweet finish/aftertaste, with a little alcohol warming.

Smells grapefruit, pine...tastes the same. Very good ! It has a long lasting grapefruit aftertaste. The bottle is wrong, I do like it!
