Alcohol evident, like American malt liquor. It shouldn’t be this bad only a couple of weeks past its "expiration". I guess it wasn’t very good when it was fresh either. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 28, 2009 The aroma is very grassy, malty, sweet. The appearance is cloear yellow, persistent white head. The flavor is grass, corn syrup, malts, very sweet. The mouthfeel is realtively thick, syrupy, sweet. The finish is sweet, maybe a tad of noble hops. you know what, I actually liked it. yes, it’s cloyingly sweet, and the hop balance isn’t there, but I liked it, dammit! dkachur (2358), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Apr 2, 2009 16.9 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Best before June 10, 09, assuming they’re using a European date format. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a large fizzy head. Aroma of sweet grain and a bit of grass. Taste is grain and an absolutely horrific cloying sweetness. Godawful. Sticky and medium bodied. SODAK14 (106), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 4, 2009 OK, I know my rating is 0.7...that is giving the "beer" the benefit of doubt. Definately one worst beer I have ever had. I thought it had a medicinal taste but I think someone else described it better as tasting more like "formeldahyde". | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Dec 6, 2008 This was crap. Smelled like plastic and tasted like cheap yeasty wine with a hint of formeldahyde. Horrible. Very dissapointing. Looked like a golden ale with no head. bhensonb (4253), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Bottle from Tops in Tempe, AZ. Amber color with a frothy white head. Rather soapy aroma. Medium body with firm carbonation. A little heat shows. Flavor is mild caramel with noble hop to balance. It’s an ok drink. Arayaga2 (954), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Honey gold with nice white head. Aroma is sweet and corny with little hop presence. Taste is very unusual in terms of onset of notes, and decay of flavor on the palate. Sweet, light, and well carbonated, with little hop presence. $2/16oz
