| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jul 14, 2006 Pours a clear pale golden with a thin-wispy white head. Sweet malty pale and mildly adjuncty corn aroma. Starts with lots of sweetness, some light adjunct flavor and mild bittering hops. Slightly warming alcohol and tartness come up toward the finish. An ok European strong lager. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Bottle (Production date 29.08.05, Best Before 29.08.06). Poured a clear golden with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipated. Light aromas of lemon, wheat, and grain. The flavor was slightly acidic up front with a grainy taste. Light body and watery. I’ll pass on my curiosity next time. LibraryBrewer (50), Goodridge, Minnesota, USA

Some cereal notes. Malty flavor and oddly bitter. Lightly tart. Light-medium body. Too sweet to drink to much of it. kotowan (1), USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jan 10, 2006 The best Russian beer after Baltika, but being second does not mean inferior.Very good, high quality beer. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 24, 2005 Roger Wilco Liquors in Pennsauken, NJ stocks many Eastern Euro and Russian beers. Many of the beers are bottled in old 500ml returnables. I’m a sucker for an old bottle to add to my homebrew operation and that’s how Aresenaloe initailly caught my eye. This Euro Strong Lager gave a rough start with the flavor of burning alcohol. It quickly shut down my tastes buds with a slight chemical flavor. I don’t believe Aresenaloe is served at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. restless7 (104), Lenexa, Kansas, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 12, 2005 The bottle I had that closely matched this label had 8% ABV. The head looked very white with somewhat larger bubbles, kind of like soap? Strong alcohol flavor but not overpowering, not very hoppy but a little. Very golden clear color like most lagers. Not dispecible but not my favorite kind of beer.
