Bottled. Deep golden, rich head. Pea soup aroma. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with notes of diesel. An unrefined yet somewhat swillable get-drunk-fast lager.

Pours a clear pale golden with a thin-wispy white head. Sweet malty pale and mildly adjuncty corn aroma. Starts with lots of sweetness, some light adjunct flavor and mild bittering hops. Slightly warming alcohol and tartness come up toward the finish. An ok European strong lager.

500 ml bottle. Pale golden beer with a fast fading oily head Aroma of pale malt with light herbal character. A bit of honeyish sweetness up front. Low bitterness and it gets cloying fast.

Pale beer with a full malt taste and strong aftertaste, harmonious hop bitterness and clearly expressed aroma.
Or so they say. What we have here is a drinkable enough Mocne, somewhat oily to the palate. It’s bright gold with a large head that rapidly reduces to a film. The aroma is sweet and sugary but displays some pale malt, dried grasses, and tin. The malty sweetness in the flavor is a bit bready, but the hop bitterness (along with the metallica) isn’t enough to hold it in check. Serve this one very cold and drink it very fast.

Dark straw to golden color. Fluffy, diminishing white head. Grainy and DMS laden aromas. Hints of light cotton candy and alcohol as well. Sweet raw sugar flavors. Some higher alcohols and brown sugar and sweet corn flavors as well. Another Euro strong lager meant for that after work buzz.

Bottle: Misty gold, no head or lacing. Nose of tinny bright sweet corn and malt, light alcohol. The flavor is dry, light hops, sweet flavor, meh. Another baltic malt liquor, too sweet to finish.

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with light notes of plastic, apple, and alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Could be a lot worse for the style. Not much character really, but the mouthfeel is decent and the finish isn’t too scary. Can’t believe I’m the first person outside the vicinity of Russia to rate this...does that mean the beer selection in Colorado kicks ass, or that I’m really really hard up to review whatever I can find?
