One should really expect too much with Russian Beer, and this one is no exception. light malt and no hops. bland and almpost flavorless.

The aroma is mostly corn malt with a little bit of hops. The appearance is neon yellow with a medium head that fades fast. The flavor is simple with a sweet corn malt and some not so great bitterness. The palate is like many macro lagers. Overall it’s not that good but drinkable.

Not a bad drink... if you’re not expecting too much. It pours a deep gold body with a creamy head pimpled by large bubbles. The aroma is of fresh buttered bread... no detectable adjuncts... or hops. The flavor’s pretty mild, a light, sweet malt, a touch grainy, with a very, very mild grassy hopping. I wouldn’t refuse one.

1pint, 9oz. (50cl) Picked up at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondito on trip to San Diego. Dark straw color. White creamy head. Bright malty sweetness with a very light hop finish. Very good breakfast beer on a hot morning. Light on buds and refeshing. Reminds me of breakfast...?

Bottle. Poured a clear deep amber with a small white head that diminished quickly. Light grainy hop aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture. Light sweet grainy flavor with a short dry finish.
