Served in a 2Ooz glass. Pours a clear, amber color. Egg-shell colored, creamy head. Aroma has a light caramel, toffee notes. The flavor is quite impressive. Rich deep caramel malt character. Surprisingly flavorfull. Calming hop bitterness creates the perfect balance to this refreshing brew. Sticky sweetness and hop flavors linger on the palate. Why can’t the other A-B beers be so rewarding. Damn, I really enjoyed this beer. Cheers.

Pours a bright copperish red with a thin but persistent tan head. Nice lacing all the way down the 20oz glass. Smell is a light fruity malt and not much else.
Taste is a decent maltiness, fruity and crisp. Some light caramel notes. Even a tinge of bitter hops in the finish especially as it warms. A slight tinny quality to the finish. Mouth is light to medium bodied, somewhere in the middle. Way overcarbonated, unpleasantly so, but this smooths out as it warms a bit too. Actually improves as it warms, not common for an AB product. Not too bad at all. A nice red lager.

Aroma is very simple, with just some medium/light caramel. Appearance is light reddish brown, clear, with no head. Flavor is a low character malt/bittering balance forward followed by a very faint earthy, citrus hop note. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with a fairly strong carb bite. Overall, this is refreshing and very easy drinking, but lacks complexity. seuinoz (138), Chicago, Illinois, USA

not the best house brew i tasted.
after i tried a few sips from my dad’s i went to hatuey beer which had a much better taste to it.
the aruba red had a very nice aroma to it though but a very bad taste to it. it didn’t even sit well on the palate it was very harsh going down.
