Sweet with very mild bitterness. Not the winter warmer I expected, more of a sweet summery ale. chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England

Not much on the nose (again, JDW, served too cold?) but a distinct grassy cat's pee hoppiness on the palate. However, it seems a little short of bittering hops and the finish is somewhat short and flat. Handpump, Lord Moon of the Mall, Whitehall, London SW1.

Manager said he couldn't adjust the temperature because the lines went through the same cooler as the lager! Anyway, as far as I could make out when the beer warmed up, this is an average bitter with a mix of earthy and citric hops. Copper tinged amber colour. Dryish. Pleasant.
