bottle at Nikko’s in Charlotte. I actually was not expecting this beer when I ordered an asahi. easy drinking with light aromas of rice. flavor was a bit on the sweet side. not bad though.

Pours a clear amber color, with a decent sized white head. Slightly sweet aroma, extra cardboard. Crisp body, stale grains and rice dominate, but is oddly refreshing.

The aroma is watery and weak but it has malt and paper with maybe some rice. The appearance is light brown with an average head. The flavor is malty with all the elements from the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s good.

Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a small, fizzy white head. Endlessly effervescent! Smell: Generally light aroma of toasted grains, cereal, with just a hint of hops. Taste: Toasted maltiness, decent amount of sweetness, and a distinct taste of husks. Light bitterness. Slight spiciness and a bit of grain astringency in the crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Lively carbonation. Decidedly watery mouthfeel. Drinkability: All graininess aside, it’s not so bad and shows way more character than the rest of the Asahi line-up.

A light amber, see-through beer, pours well behaved with a 1 inch medium-denisty head. Aroma of rice and pungunt citrus. Taste is full and bitter. Mouthfeel is watery. Finish is skunky and a little rough.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lasting light amber head. Aromas of carmel and dark bread. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of dark bread, carmel and light fruitiness with a crisp malty finish.

Upon the pour, a golden bronze color with an average head, creamy white, and after its erosion, the lace forms a thin concealing sheet. Nose is sweet malt, a very mild hint of hops; start is malt sweet with a touch of spicy bitterness at the back, light to medium feel. Prickly acidity, hops light but present, very dry lingering aftertaste, a drinkable beer, and one suited for a hot day, when the lawn needs a trim, or in my case when I wash off the rocks, desert landscape don’t you know. Lol
