kidmartinek (777), austin, Texas, USA Apr 12, 2008 A light amber, see-through beer, pours well behaved with a 1 inch medium-denisty head. Aroma of rice and pungunt citrus. Taste is full and bitter. Mouthfeel is watery. Finish is skunky and a little rough.
dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Nov 28, 2008 This is quite a surprise for a Japanese macro brew. Red in color. Very clean flavor, a bit of malt, a bit of caramel. Light and drinkable, but still not much there. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 12, 2008 Date: 10/11/2008
unclemattie (1715), Georgia, USA Oct 11, 2008 12oz twist-off bottle. clear, amber color. rocky head. sweet malt nose. Rich malt character. slight toasted barley. A little nutty even some caramel malt. Better than most of the style. ATLBeerDog (279), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 11, 2008 From a 12oz brown bottle - Pours a clear pale orange. Not pretty too all. Smells of corn and light malt. Below average carbonation. First sip is almost flavorless with just a tad of hops and malts …almost water like. I can not imagine consuming this product. nearbeer (1386), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 19, 2008 12 oz. Clear copper with a small, lasting disc of foam. Spots of soapy lace. Light aroma of spicy-sweet grain and caramel. Flavors of molasses, toasted nut and dry grain husk with a light orange-apple twang. Light-medium body is a bit watery and fizzy, but very dry. Not great, but very drinkable. Reminds me of some of the fair-to-middlin English bitters.
