Nov 24, 2009 Copper pour, big head, nice lace. Sour fruity aroma. Light carbonation, woody caramel sweetness. With a hint of honey and butter. Nice waxy flavor, candy, some rice? Surprisingly complex brew.

Nov 11, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear brilliant coppery gold with a moderate white head that quickly faded to a wide ring which lasted almost until the end and left partial lace. Meager aroma of malt and caramel. The flavor is malt and caramel with a bit of the grain coming through as well. Light hops bitterness at the finish. Frankly, this beer was better than I was expecting and is quite drinkable.

Apr 19, 2009 Sampled on 4/19/2009. This pale lager pours a deep orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grain, with a touch of citrusy hops. A medium bodied Pale Lager. The malts are cereal and grainy, perhaps a touch of rice. The hops are floral. Nice balance. Some decent flavors is this one. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and malty.

Jan 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a one finger creamy off white head. Nose is fruity and malty. Taste is caramel malt, light fruits and slight hops. Medium mouth feel. Better than the standard Asahi brew.
