0,35 l can, thanks larsga. Grassy hops, rather light, but there is some malty body. OK, but not very exciting.

Medium offwhite head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Dense, firm malty aroma with hoppy notes. Dry grassy malty straw taste with some darker notes. No obvious aftertaste, maybe a bit drier and grassier. Clean, clear mouthfeel. Well balanced, with a bit of taste. Quite nice. (0.35l can from some Tokyo grocery store.)

330 ml can. Bright yellowish golden colour. Clear. Tall fluffy white head that clings to the glass. Relatively strong malt character with some sweetness. Little hops to be detected. Rounded texture with not that much carbonation. Light drying hop bitterness. In the finish there is a little hop bitterness. Nicely balanced.

Light golden color, light hoppy nose, sweet malty light body. Weak, don’t bother if you are in Japan.

I bought a can of the premium fuji-san on a recent trip to Japan and cracked in open without really knowing what to expect. A strong hoppy flavour and the alcohol really seems to hit you quickly. A darkish colour and a full body make this one of the better Japanese beers. Still you couldn’t have more than a few of these.

A golden/Orange color with an off-white head. A slight malty scent. A mildly sweet malt flavor with just a bit of a bitter follow. Better than the vast majority of other Japanese Macro Lagers.
