| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 16, 2006 Officially, according to Japanese law, this is not real beer due to the low amount of malt in it. Its a "happushu". Thin straw colour. The aroma ´has an uncomfortable metallic touch mixed with some malty-thing. Flavour is waterish, bit sour and quite unpleasent. Nasty but cheap compared to the real beers. BückDich (4851), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Can: Pale gold color, thin head and lacing. Nose is slightly tinny with something I wouldn’t call malt, but some might. It’s a thin and flavorless brew, some very light hop notes in the finish, but a domination of happoshu all through it. God, Happoshus are aweful, why am I doing this to myself? MrManning (1652), London, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 8, 2004 Canned- Pale yellow body, frothy bleached head. Skunk is strong in this one, some chemical aromas with a mild touch of hops. Watery, sour apples is what taste I am getting here. Watery mouthfeel, sour chemical apple aftertaste. Slight burn in throat. Strange. Different, but not in a good way. BelgianBeerGal (1302), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Canned. Clear, gold colour. Medium white, foamy head that dissovled with slight lacing. Small bubbly carbonation. Very light aroma with little hops. Crisp clean flavour that was very light: watery. Quick finish with little bitterness. IslandHaole (1035), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 29, 2004 A clear golden color with white head. Starchy smell, sweet but tinny tasting. Not one I’d seek out but fair enough to wash wasabi out of your mouth. Did a side by side of this vs. Sapporo’s "Winter Tale", this was better but not by much Capa (988), Yokosuka, Japan
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Apr 17, 2007 Pours clear golden with a large, foamy white head. Aroma was swet malt. Thin, bubbly mouth. Taste is metallic at first, then fading into a very light malt. Crisp, and refreshing, but completely lacking in the taste arena. Meh. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA
