| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2005 Hazy straw colour. Clean, fresh grain aroma with soft noble hops. Flavour is the same - clean, light bready pale malt character, sweet, with a lightly spicy noble hop finish. Body is moderate for style and carbonation light. Refreshing, an excellent example of a pale lager. shp555 (1688), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Had this from a yellow-gold coloured can bought from a convenience store in Tokyo. Clear-pale yellow with a white, quickly disappearing head. Hoppy aroma with a stronger hop and malt taste than "Super Dry". If you like the regular Asahi but are looking for more flavour, here it is. larsga (2969), Oslo, Norway
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Biggish white head does not last. Pale yellow body. Faint malt aroma. Dry grainy taste with grassy hop notes. Exceptionally clean palate. Dry, papery aftertaste. Men of science worked hard to remove all taste from this beer, and they did a great job. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Bottle from Ichidai in PDX--Poured a clear straw golden body with a minimal white head. Crisp, pissy, generic Pilsner nose. It was no surprise to find out that this beer was under contract by Molsen of Canada. Not a bad beer, just far from boring. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark
