Clear golden body. Mild barley malt aroma with grassy notes. Mild barley malt flavor with grassy notes and a fair hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste. shp555 (1677), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 13, 2009 Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is pilsner malts, honey, vanilla, floral, and a hint of peppery hops. Flavor is very nice pilsner malts, honey, a nice touch of grain, vanilla, and a very balanced peppery finish. KyotoLefty (1371), Kyoto, Japan Mar 3, 2009 Sweet, malty aroma with almost enough hops. Flavor quickly becomes too sweet and cloying, though, with not near enough hops. First sip was very impressive, last sip and I just wanted to get it over with. Not so special. Includes rice and starch! Come on, Asahi! Is this your premium?
motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic Jul 17, 2008 canned. a regular shade of yellow, fizzy, metallic aroma and even more metallic aftertaste, dull and pointless AvidDirtman (25), , Japan Jul 7, 2008 Another installment from the ArseSahi company, that is near perfectly devoid of any flavour. The colour is pale yellow and comes out pretty much the same it goes in.
Whilst not as unpleasant as its Super Dry cousin, superfly this is not.
There is a slight suggestion of hops in the aroma.
It leaves a mildy satisfying doughy aftertaste. I heard mention of lemon and citrus but im just not getting that at all. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 14, 2008 Bottle from Ichidai in PDX--Poured a clear straw golden body with a minimal white head. Crisp, pissy, generic Pilsner nose. It was no surprise to find out that this beer was under contract by Molsen of Canada. Not a bad beer, just far from boring.
