This is not an overly fantastic beer by any stretch but it really does go well with sushi. I enjoyed the crisp flavor to accompany the fish and rice. Good pairing. lightning9191 (82), Christiansburg, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2008 Had Asahi super dry in a perfect temp 500ml can at a sushi place last night. Goes good with saki. Not an everyday beer it tastes a little too metallic and dry but it is fantastic for spicy foods. I recomend this not only with sushi but it would be good with a hot curry. Pours nice and clean with fresh aroma. Tastes a little like a weißbier becuase if the certian type of grains in it. I would get this beer again especially in the winter. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Had with a meal somewhere. Looks like a lager and tastes like one. Pretty average, not that dry, not that flavoursome. A little metallic and watery with a decent hint of malts. Not terrible by any stretch and if I want back to the same restaurant, I’d certinaly pick this over the usual carling type lagers on offer in England. Odyn (217), New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2008 I had this at a Japanese restaurant, and this was fairly light and went extremely well with my meal. It is light and refreshing with a golden color and moderate head. Finishes cleanly and was very good, though I am not sure how well it would be for all day drinkability. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Had at a sushi restaurant. Yellow color with moderate white head. fairly effervescent and not much going on aroma or with the flavor. A little dry, I guess. Not very impressed. zvikar (431), Tel-Aviv, Israel
