It was always reliable when you were out and needed a drink. Now it’s nostalgic more than anything else. I like it when having rice based meals. It just works good that way. Nothing special but, a good drop for a thirsty drinker. Inoffensive taste of grain, rice etc. Not a "trashy" or fantastic lager but worth drinking while watcing a game on t.v. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland

Smells skunky, cheap and of rice and grass. Taste is of subtle malts, rice and hops. In my opinion, it is just like other Asian Beers- Tiger, Tsingtao, Yinjang, Sapporo, etc. Cheap and plain. Crisp, easy to drink little bit ricey , its got an addictive slightly malty after taste which doesnt last too long. I like this stuff and its fairly strong ( % wise) which no one ever seems to mention. JesseM (666), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Pours a nice gold, with a medium white frothy head, and a curious looking single strand of bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass that looks like a tornado. The taste is, super dry! Super clean! Super so-so! Actually it’s decent for what it is, a little dry all the way through but with some alright malty sweetness of no particular distinction. Almost a creamy touch to it in the finish. Mouth-feel is good for a pale lager. Considering the sheer amount of adjuncts used in it it’s actually not undrinkable, but I think I can actually taste the rice, making it seem like some sort of Sake-Lager hybrid. Hits the spot nicely on this gloomiest of days I’ve been having. Also with some weird and unnatural adjuncty fruity elements, most notably banana. "Fresh, crisp and clear - with a sharp delivery that slakes thirst before slipping gently on.", uh, yeah! Whatever that means.......... BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA

Just a bit of a step up from your typical pale lagers. Creamy mouthfeel, light carbonation, smooth and dry in the finish.
