633ml bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose is slightly fruity with a light caramel malt note; clear gold with a medium off white head; flavor is light grassy hops with a little sweetness.

Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet aroma with cardboard notes. Flavor goes the same way. Ends sweet.

I’ve said it before... I wish they had a nostalgia rating. If they did, this beer would get higher score than it did. I really enjoy this beer and it reminds me of my years living in japan. it really isn’t any better (or worse) than any major us or canadian macro. i wish i could get a hold of some Japan brewed stuff.

Bottle. A piss poor yellow foam with artifical carbonation. Nose and taste are corn and rice.

Poured from bottle 5/2008. Malt aroma, not much else. A bit darker than I expected. Any head disappears quickly. Actually a pepper flavor along with the dominant malt. Something like hops in there too, noticed in the burnt veggie aftertaste. OK finish. Could be good with Indian food. Not bad, drinkable brew.

Pale yellow with aroma of light corn. Taste is of corn, with a dry astringent finish. Kind of thin and watery, but better than an American macro.

Yes, this is my beer of choice with sushi. Crisp and refreshing. I don’t drink it any other time except at Japanese restaurants.

pours like you expect from a pale lager, straw-colored and with little head. No detectable aroma except for a touch of wheatiness. Taste is much like an american macro light beer, that is, what taste?
