12oz bottle poured in an English pint. ASD pours yellow and clear with a fairly substantial creamy white head. It looks like a typical macro brewery output. The aroma is, again, typical macro. There’s the smell of treated water and corn along with tin. The body is thin and carbonated but still manages to have a touch of oil. There isn’t much of an after taste but some bitter vegetable residue does remain. The flavor better than the typical AB product but certainly nothing to get excited about. The hops are present but they don’t really meld well with the corn taste.

I really like this. It was just what I wanted. Not much aroma to speak of and the appearance was very basic american macro. However, the extremely crisp effervescent taste was just what the doctor ordered. I got this at Yamato, a japanese steakhouse, and it did the trick. Not filling, very crisp and clean tasting, it left room for dinner.

Can.Very pale yellow color, tiny head.Apart from some grainy and the usual chemical aromas, not much of a taste. Had it also on draft in Berlin, where it left a better impression, maybe because it was summer. Still, more interesting than some European lagers like Tuborg Green or American like Miller.

Fast head, piss-yellow, light malt, grain aroma. Malt, corn taste, like a super Miller. Dry aftertaste. Why is it that the Orient wants beer that taste like american macro-brews when america would rather have beers that taste like they came from Europe?

Sorry guys but this is my favorite "Japanese" beer. Smells like malt and grains. Pours a clear yellow color with a somewhat fluffy white head that hangs around for a good while and believe it or not, laces the glass. Tastes of grains and malts as well. Sweet with a tangy grain taste. Has some body to it, crisp carbonation and it actually has somewhat of a dry finish, much like the bottle states. I dig the dry character of this beer and its not as sweet as a Kirin or Sapporo.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty and grassy. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and grassy. Not one that I would buy again.

(Bottle): Pours a light yellow color, small white head. Malty aroma, fresh. Clean, nutty taste. Watery. Refreshing. A little alcoholy, a little dry, but not too bad.

Not too terrible at all I thought. In fact it was fairly decent for the style. Typical light gold pour with light head and smelled of corn like malt mainly. Taste was corn like malt with some sweetness, but not too much and no real off flavors. Average body and carbonation for a pale lager. Nothing too special but works fine at a sushi bar.
