Out for some Asian food, limited beer options, and I figure I’ll go with something crisp and dry to battle the spice. Just another anonymous pale lager, with a fairly lively body as its only notable characteristic. Almost prompts the question as to whether it’s even really beer. GRM (1283), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 24, 2007 I simply adore this drink. What more could a man want from a glass of beer? Nicy and dry, with a hint of bitterness. The one beer to drink with food. It’s been around for a long time, though be aware that its taste varies, depending on where it is brewed. obguthr (1062), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Faint hay aroma. Yellow color, no head. Very little flavor. It’s simply a waste of time. darbish (81), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2007 it doesn’t smell particularly good, or taste particularly good when you buy it from any of the non-japanese sources. if you have a chance i recommend buying the ones that are imported from japan, instead of the more local ones. the beer lives up to its description of being crisp, fresh and clear, but one wonders if they could do better... | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Updated: May 28, 2008This is a decent, but rather basic, bland, weak lager with little taste, and I really enjoy pale lagers. It is gold with a thick white head that lasts and leaves some lacing. The aroma is actualy somewhat strong, but typical for the style with mild malt, grain. The taste is very mild grain, specifically a definite rice quality, not particularly sweet or bitter. It has a faint metallic hint and a mild rice-grain aftertaste. It starts of bland, gets a little flavour, but part way down it loses flavour completely before the mildaftertaste. It is very watery, even for the style, with a rough, unpleasant palate. As my wife said in comparing it to Schlitz, this tastes less like beer, which mostly sums it up. douglas88 (1662), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light gold with a white frothy head. The taste is smooth and crisp; some hops and a sweet malt. The body is watery and finishes dry. Not bad. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

smell is wet grain, silage, skunk weed, very bad aroma, yuck.
taste is dry just like the label says "super dry", but the taste is more like "super bad", grain, a weird taste that i just cant put my finger on.
the beers appearance really hides how bad this is, all i can say is that this beer really sucks.
