Taste is rather clean and crisp just as the commercial description with no flavor. Basically this is a Japanese version of Bud. It goes well with Japanese food (obviously) but, surprisingly goes well with other food. Has some with steaks I made and it was great. If not for it’s ability to go well with food, I’d probably rate it much lower. shalloWMeans (160), Independence, Kentucky, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 27, 2007 Pours with a smooth head. Very, very light straw color, and lots of carbonation. Theres not too much to the aroma, kind of grassy. The taste is not too complex either, but has hints of rice and hop and super short finish. Tried it with seaweed salad but it was nasty, thank jesus for the Asahi to wash it down with. The palate is very flat, and overall this beer tastes like a Miller Lite, but with a Japanese feel to it. Easy session beer, ok with snacks, and the short finish make it worth the while. goldbrew (99), USA

Odd because I think Sapporo Premium is a slightly better beer standalone. Certainly an abrupt finish and a minimal chopped-off aroma here. It does however let me best enjoy the soy sauce and spicy tuna roll without having to take centerstage as the beverage. mike1977ok (648), Netherlands

A bit pale looking. Very fresh, neutral aroma. Flavour is a mildly dry and hoppy. Quite high carbonation. Overall it’s quite plain but nevertheless very fresh, clean and easy to drink. Ramenen (456), San Salvador, El Salvador

No taste, a bit metallic. Finishes very dry. So then again no taste at all badnloose (99), North Hollywood, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Super dry, yes. Only thing which makes this beer stand out. Doesn’t taste bad, but rather barely tastes at all. Strangely refreshing, however. It does go well with Japanese food. posikyle (165), Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 15, 2007 Pours a light golden color. Not much aroma, flavor/mouthfeel is barely there. I love the "super dry" finish to it. Nothing I’d drink when I want a good beer, but it goes along well with chinese food. KingofCastle (202), London, Ontario, Canada

Super Dry is true, but also no flavour or texture at all. It is smooth but has sacrificed all flavour so what is the point? Funny, the can states it is the beer for all seasons?! Maybe this would taste good on 45 degree day and you are dying for a drink, that’s it.
