golden colored asian beer with little to offer other than crappy flavor. leaves a gross aftewrtaste in ones mouth.

Pretty typical lager but im liking the crispness of these "extra" and "super" dry brews. Decent head and nice pale golden colour. Pretty fizzy and clean taste. Not too bad.

Light golden color with a decent sized white head. Aroma is light with mild malt notes. Flavor is light grainy malt. Short, dry finish. While not having much in the way of flavor, it is exactly what the brewery tried to create.

Pours pale yellow w/ a medium sized, semi creamy froth. Nice head retention w/ full residual lacing. Aroma is mild to nonexistant. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. Theres a malty graininess w/ a mild yet persistant bittering component. Some off flavors on the finish w/ a mild bittering.

I tasted this beer at a hibachi grill about a year ago, so I am going from memory. I had this after a Sapporo or two. Pours a light yellow color with a smallish head, I smelled malt on the nose. Very carbonated. I would say that the only reason to drink this beer is to fit in while eating in a Japanese restaurant.

Overlooked for so long by my ignorant self and yet such a triumph of technology and bounding ingenuity in a bottle as to leave any techno-geek agasp. But is it beer?
Into its own frosted tallboy as to give an impression of depth, a dull gold body presides. Off the pour a clean glass produces a decent thin, dense pad of white that holds and legs well. Classically dry but CO2 weighted nose barely releases from the glass. A hint of burnt rice and boiling brine liquor joins in, not too enticing at all.
Super feather-weight in the mouth, crisp (accordingly!) bouncy, and bubbly, whilst actually living out to its label description of being ’smooth’. Hey, soapy too! Flavour? The term ’Super-dry’ is in a bigger font than the description below mentioning ’Great taste’. Who needs that? Feint, distant cardboard and cracked pepper granules linger after the swallow, very little else. It succeeds well in enticing the Dry era of drinker to get drunk, no flavour!
Not offensive, not distasteful, not tasteful, not anything, this is the real deal of dry lagers. Ahhh, hum!!! (33cL, 11/09/07, The Beer Store Morley)

Pours a translucent yellow with a small bubbly white head that very quickly went away to nothing. Aroma of corn, rice, grassy, sweet malts. Flavor of cereal grain,s, rice, clean, crisp and dry. Nice option at the Japanese steakhouse...but that is about it.

Pours golden with a large fizzy white head. Aroma was corn and maybe a bit of malt. Body is rather fizzy. Flavor is muted, but some malt, and hops. It’s just another macro. There are much better Japanese macros out there.
