Pours a crystal golden with a one finger white head--it does last for a minute or so, which I find good for a pale lager. Aroma of grain, corn, sweat (though not necessarily offensive B.O.), and some sweet malts.Flavor is fairly papery, mild hop bitterness--maybe a little grass--with some grain and a bit of metal. Semidry finish. Moderate carbonation with a watery body. There was nothing offensive about this beer, but there wasn’t hardly anything to it. So for a pale, it’s decent. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 2, 2007 Certainly very dry. Aroma is pretty much nonexistant. Appearance is not bad, very cloudy but doesnt have much structure to it. Mouthfeel is smooth (with warm sake) and flavor is sweet and acidic, not a good combo. 17thfloor (1507), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 26, 2007 Tried one warm and a few cold.. the cold ones didnt have any carbonation and the flavor was strictly of malt. the warm one actually had decent carbonation, head and a nice taste of apples.... mb this is a lager to be enjoyed a little warmer than most. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Feb 26, 2007 bottle into schooner glass, very aussie... mostly metalic with very (very) slight floral aroma, really lovely clear beer...no head. flavour is of metal and some kind of cleanser, palate is thin and medium carbonation, good for excessive swilling. not exactly the best beer in the world...it’s a change from VB and Carlton draught...not much of one tho Braincage1 (140), Cary, North Carolina, USA
