From bottle poured yellow with very little head. Nose of rice. Flavor is very mild and there is a touch of hops. Very bland.

] Pours clear light gold, quite effervescent. A half inch of acid white head gives way to just a few persistant bubbles here and there. A little bready in the aroma, but more like a store-bought white bread than a hearty homemade wheat. The taste is pretty mild but still flavorful with a little sweet and bready malt and a hint of floral hops. The finish is very dry, which the fizzy carbonation compliments quite well. It tasted very fresh, clean, and pure - no adjunct flavors whatsoever. Definately a walk on the mild side.

Stupid sushi restaurants never have good beer. This one is watery, and a bit ricey. Completely forgettable macro stuff.

Bottle at Manggha in Krakow. Little head, goes off completely. Odd flavour, slightly acidic, sweet and with strong corn notes. Less hoppy than european lagers. Nothing extraordinary, but drank kinda well to sushi. (Note that my bottle read that it was brewed in Czech Republic; the Japanese original may be different)

In comparison to Sapporo, this is very good. My friend was having a Yeuling at the time and he said it tasted just like the Yeuling except the Asahi is extremely light in color. I disagree with the taste but I’d order it again with a hibachi meal. Very decent.

This is of one the more unremarkable beers I’ve tried in awhile. Very smooth, dry, and plain. Virtually no taste, but at least it easy to drink.

grassy, flowery aroma. Pours a light yellow, white head. Pretty standard restaurant beer. Grassy taste, dry finish. Japanese Bud.

Neutral aroma and the flavour has notes of hops and flower as the initial impression. It’s bitterness is OK and it is a refreshing beer. (Early rating, too short)
