Bottle. It’s certainly dry, I’ll give it that. But a bit of flavour wouldn’t go astray though. Bit like ginger ale without the ginger.

Despite the bad reviews, I quite like this little Japanese beer. Others mention that it does, or does not go with sushi. Who cares what goes with sushi? Sushi is a disgusting creation only eaten by trendy, gormless city posers for effect! What matters is what the beer tastes like and this is a good little refreshing lager - not much taste I concur, but slips down a treat on a summer day and it’s brewed by Shepherd Neame, which is always a bonus!

Bottle 45F Lager. Smells of rice nothing special at all no hops to speak of. Very clear maybe a touch darker than most pale lagers. Finishes dry and not so bad, plenty of metallic taste, Decent carbonation and mouthfeel. If it were not for the taste and mouthfeel this would be a drain pour, but really its not too bad.

Thank to MJuarez. Can: Pours a huge foamy white head, strong aroma and taste of what must be rice; grainy. Really super dry. Finish is chemical, iron-like.

Bottle. When I am having sushi, this is my beer. Not that its the perfect pair, just usually my favorite on offer. Slightly bitter for a Pale Lager macrobrew, certainly dry as name implies.

500mL can. Standard macrobrew. Probably adjuncts, I think. Better than Molson, probably equal to Blue. Could be worse.
