22oz bottle. Aroma: Light grainy maltiness with slightly sweet corn. Appearance: Light golden in color and clear. White head was full and foamy with good retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Light malt. Hops? Nope. Light bitterness. Clean finish. Palate: Light bodied and watery. Medium carbonation. Overall: This was one of those situations where someone ordered a beer for me, and thought they were getting me something ’gourmet’. Courtesy demanded that I thank them and drink it. And so I did. Inside, I died a little bit.

Sep 24, 2008 Not much aroma which is great when paired with seafood and sushi. Flavor is light, again coplementing japanese dishes. Light on the palate. Overall, a good light drinking brew with an excellent flavor with sushi and seafood.

Sep 21, 2008 Boring and forgettable. It’s aroma is absent, maybe some hops. It looks like a thirst quencher. That’s sort of my base marking though, so really nothing special. Golden color, common to pales. It’s flavor is nothing special.some unbalanced hop and malt flavors. It’s a chore to drink. I didn’t like it at all.

Sep 13, 2008 Almost no aroma. Poured clear pale amber with a thin fizzy head. Dry finish but not much in flavour. Went well with the curry dip I was snacking on.

Sep 12, 2008 Bottled poured into pint glass at a great sushi place in LA. This is not an overly fantastic beer by any stretch but it really does go well with sushi. I enjoyed the crisp flavor to accompany the fish and rice. Good pairing.
