reakt (855), Greater London, England Dec 19, 2007 Bottle from Quaffs. Hazy amber with a thin white head. Sappy, orangey hop aroma with soapy tropical fruit notes and even some ginger. Taste is much the same with some subtle underlying malt and a long bitter hop finish. The American influence is apparent, it’s almost like a milder Hercules Double IPA. Once again the only gripe is the thin body but a solid brew none the less. A good UK, USA combo...
yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. It pours a clear, golden-orange, quite pale body with a small, white head. Grapefruit-sourish nose, slightly artificial. Seems like it might be going bad. Grapefruit, generic fruityness, caramel and some bitterness in the mouth. Flavor feels a bit artificial too. Thin body, sourish and dry, almost papery mouthfeel. Grapefruit-sour and hoppy bitter finish. Strange one. Good? In a way. Bad? In a way. (080829) digiguru (2), , Surrey, England does not count Oct 29, 2008 A tasty and well balanced beer thats not over strong, but retains some delicious flavor. gunnfryd (2839), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 26, 2008 Bottle. Amber colour with a white head. Aroma is hop, fruit, malt, grapefruit. Flavour is hop, malt, caramel. There were a wrong flavour in the beer for me that i can´t define. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 21, 2008 Cask gravity at SIBA BF, Paddock Wood. Hazy gold, lasting white head. Obvious citrus grapefruit hop aroma. It’s got a lot of citrus. Earthy hop. Very earthy beer. MrAleman (113), guildford, Surrey, England Sep 9, 2008 Yeah, this is nice pretty cloudy and hoppy a bit like you know that Alligator ale and everthing, not quite as amazing though but still a good beer yes.
