| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2008 After two flavoursome brews from Ascot, we had to give the third offer at Market Porter a try. This is the English style of wheat beer that is a bit different in taste than the German and Belgian styles. Hazy, brown body with a bubbly ring around the rim of the glass. Dry floral smell. Flavour of peaches and pineapple mixed with underlying malts. Dry mouthfeel (01.05.2008). MesandSim (5863), London, Greater London, England

Slightly hazy gold with a very thin white head. Lovely big grassy hops with some light sweet malt and delicate sweetness. Wheat is just about evident all round. Late bite from the dry hoppage. A decent wheat even if it was on its way out.
