Jan 6, 2009 Deep, dark brown colour with thin creamy head. Some hop citric acidity detectable in the aroma. Flavour has masses of roasted malt and has a hint of coffee in the aftertaste.

Nov 29, 2008 Bottle, Black coloured beer with some average carbonation and a large brown head. Coffee and caramel roasted malty, rather strong sweet aroma. Full creamy palate. Finish is creamy, strong roasted caramel with some light spicy touches and a special strong ending.

Nov 20, 2008 nice dark brown with a nose of burned toast. smooth feel with a coffee caramel taste and nice tobacco notes on tha aftertaste. bit of a lucky dip this one and for £1 whos complaining.

Oct 26, 2008 Dark brown in colour with ruby tones and a big, fluffy tan head. Sweet malt and dark fruit aroma. Flavour was sweet, with some chocolate, roastiness and an abrupt bitter finish. Ok.

Sep 17, 2008 Bottle. Very dark brown with beige long-lasting head. Dark, smoky / roasted malt aroma. Medium body with plenty of fine carbonation. Rich with a sharp and bitter edge giving good balance. Malty with fruit and some dark chocolate / coffee notes with a bitter finish. Well balanced, but Porter is not my favourite style.
