500ml Bottle - Very dark brown, almost black, with some red tinges. Light roasted malt aroma with some chocolate and coffee. Roasted taste with chocolate and a hint of coffee. Fairly smooth.

Bottle. Real roasted malt aroma, good classic porter colour, malty with a very smooth texture.

Deep, dark brown colour with thin creamy head. Some hop citric acidity detectable in the aroma. Flavour has masses of roasted malt and has a hint of coffee in the aftertaste.

Bottle, Black coloured beer with some average carbonation and a large brown head. Coffee and caramel roasted malty, rather strong sweet aroma. Full creamy palate. Finish is creamy, strong roasted caramel with some light spicy touches and a special strong ending.

Dark brown in colour with ruby tones and a big, fluffy tan head. Sweet malt and dark fruit aroma. Flavour was sweet, with some chocolate, roastiness and an abrupt bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle. Very dark brown with beige long-lasting head. Dark, smoky / roasted malt aroma. Medium body with plenty of fine carbonation. Rich with a sharp and bitter edge giving good balance. Malty with fruit and some dark chocolate / coffee notes with a bitter finish. Well balanced, but Porter is not my favourite style.

This fine beer may only be bettered by a second. Good head, strong ale but does not compromise the great flavour,
