Apr 2, 2007 on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is citrus hops, medium malt. Taste is citrus hops, medium malt-sweet. Balanced nicely. Easy drinking. Mild carbonation.

Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Moderate sour citrus earthy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration.
Solid brew.

Sep 12, 2005 Draught at 11th Southern Brewers Festival in Chattanooga. Pours orange copper with a tiny tan head. Malty (straw) fruit hop citrus dominated aroma. Bitter acidic rind grapefruit hop with malt notes that try to balance the flavor, yet there is still a lingering hop character. Medium bodied and a dry, clean palate.

Jun 30, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. slightly hazy amber color with thin off white head. Fruity and grainy malt aroma with a grapefruity hoppy note. Flavor is similar, but the malt is dominant. Crisp finish.

Jan 2, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. This was my favorite of the APBC ales. Dark amber in color with a malty sweet aroma. The balance is amazing to this one- not too heavily bittered, but a good sweetness that makes this a mild and easy drink.

Nov 1, 2004 Hazy copper, with decent sized sloppy white head. piney, slightly vegetable hop aroma. Very peppery, woodsy flavors up front, then a nice smoky, earthy malt background. Nice, well made session brew. Sampled at Asheville Brewgrass Festival 2004.
