Bottle from Dickinsonbeer. Rich, chocolatey, chalky aroma, mostly dry, a touch of peanut. Dry, full, clean flavor, not too rich but pretty decent, a touch milky and chalky, easy drinking, fairly mild, a touch bitter. Enjoyable.

Pours black with a tan head. Has a weak chocolate aroma. A bit watery and lacking flavor all around.

22 ounce bottle purchased at brewery. Looks like porter. Lucious roasty-sweet nose showcases chocolate and coffee, plus nuances of fig and bubblegum. Fruity, roasty, and cola flavors. Clean Finish, mldly bitter aftertaste. Although the beer starts out nicely, as carbonation wanes it becomes as one-dimensional, and most of the bottle is just limp and caramelly as flat Coke. Medium-light body, smooth and slick. Pleasant beer, nothing special.

Pours black with a fairly small light tan head. Big hops on the nose, highly roasted coffee, and dark chocolate. Dark chocolate taste, moderate coffee, a good amount of pine that works fairly well. Medium bodied and creamy, I thought this was pretty good. Think a lighter Black Sun Stout.

(22oz bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of ash, roasted malt, grass, grapefruit, pine, chocolate, and coffee. Flavor of roasted malt, ash, cocoa, and hops (grass, some citrus) with a dry finish.

Very dark brown with a thin tan head. Espresso roast coffee aroma. Slightly bitter with lots of coffee and dry dark chocolate flavors. A bit thin.

Bomber. Pitch black with visible light sneaking through. Smallish tan head. Very coffee forward aroma and flavor, lots of roastiness and a little bit of chocolate. Not the most complex beer, but a solid, standard porter.

Bottle thanks to bullzeye. The smell is roasty, malts, coffee, chocolate like you would expect from a porter but then adds grapefruit and hops. The look is dark brown, clearish, with a good beige head. The taste is malts, sweet, grapefruit, some hops, and roasted malts.
