Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a very dark brown hued body with a light brown head. Aroma is strongly hoppy for a porter, with a ton of citrus, dominated by grapefruit. Some chocolate and sugars backing the porter hop assault. Taste is on the watery side of things. Hoppy still, but not as much so. Chocolate, and if I read my notes right turbinado. Light bubbles.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a light chocolate brown color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is light roasted malts, caramel and sweet berry like fruit notes. Taste is light roasted malts, subtle hops and coffee. Medium bodied.

Bottle shared by Ding at the Brick Store. Pours a dark chocolate brown with a small, fleeting off-white head that leaves no lacing. The aroma is subdued and mostly dominated by dark roasted malts with only hints of chocolate and coffee in the background. The taste has a slightly more pronounced chocolate sweetness that balances the smoked malts more than the aroma would suggest. The finish is dry and slightly smoky, possibly with some coffee bitterness though very faint. The mouthfeel is very light for the style with less carbonation than I expected. This is an average porter that doesn’t stand out in any way and is very light for the style. Not bad but nothing memorable.

Thanks to Rogueone for sharing a bottle. This brew pours black with a medium frothy off-white head that burns away steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Medium, dry body with flavors of roasted malts and coffee, along with a touch of chocolate. The finish is roasty with a mildly bitter hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
