Bottle. Pours darkest brown with some off-white head. Caramel aroma with some coffee. Flavor of coffee and chocolate. Not bad. Thought from the name that it would be awful.

11/17/08, tap at the Coxe Ave. location of APBC. Pours like a standard porter, looks a bit thin. Flavor is hard roasted malts. Not a great porter, but palatable. Would be better if it didn’t seem so watery.

Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Deep dark brown with a thin light tan head. Some good retention. Smooth roasty coffees in the aroma, some roasted malt and coffee tastes. Pretty big hop and bitter roasted malt finish.
