Commercial Description:
A very distinctive pale ale, this beer is 100% home-grown in the Western North Carolina mountains. A sweet front end belies the fresh English hops for a very earthy aroma & flavor. Just like Asheville, it plants a seed in your soul that stays with you for life.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a golden body and a small off-white head. Aroma is slightly fruity with caramel and a bit of faded hops. Taste is caramel with light hops. Very forgettable (no "seed planted in my soul"). Light carbonation.

Bottle. . Body-amber with a medium ring of bubbles. Taste-a pale ale without a lot of hops. A passable, if very average and uninspired, pale ale.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Light amber pour with a thin egg white head. Nose of sweet hops and some fruity malts. Nice grapefruity flavor with some nice malts in the finish.

Bottle. Really light copper color, crystal clear with a head like dishwater. Nose of lemons, a little hops....and not a lot else. It starts off OK with some bitterness up front that fades to lemony sourness and a mild skunk finish. It leaves my mouth feeling soured with some herbal hints lingering for awhile.

Bomber from Asheville. Pours a light copper amber with noticeable chill haze. The head is 2 fingers thick sticky, foamy, offwhite. The nose is kind of subdued, doesn’t come out to you very much, picked up some piny hops, a little corn, sweet malt background, English feel? Flavor shows some corn, has a spicy bitterness, mildly sweet, well balanced but not well done. Palate is mildly bitter and crisp.

A dark copper color with a minimal white head. The aroma contains some caramel, lemons, and a strong herbal deal. The flavor contains some caramel, lemons, grassy notes, and some ginseng? This beer was ok but I dont get the herbal overload with this brewery.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a light amber color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, pineapple, citrus and a tart note. Taste is caramel, butterscotch, light fruits and a strong hop finish. Medium bodied.

Draft pours straw with some white head. Heavy buttery, floral clean fruit hop aroma. Flavor bitters in the finish.
