Suttree (2237), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Apr 28, 2008 Yellow, white head. My review was trying to dance around the fact that it’s actually, well, bland. There, I said it. AB&P makes a lot of great, interesting beers, but this isn’t one of ’em. Sampled at the Raleigh WBF.
wilkie (1028), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA May 11, 2008 Draught at the WBF in Raleigh. Typical golden yellow beer. Nothing special in hops, malt, aroma, or flavor. Marketed as a "summer beer," it doesn’t seem to have that wheaty flavor that most summer beers have. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 11, 2008 Date: 04/11/2008
Mode: Draft

Words: tweeked variation on the looking glass with a new yeast
Appearance: cloudy light orange, creamy off white head, lots of patterned lace,
Aroma: light sweet malt aroma with a touch of citrus orand and spicyness,
Flavor: sweet cereal malt flavor, touch of citrus, light spicyness, light balancing bitterness, a complex array of mixed characters, light wheat tartness,
Overall: a step up from the gold, but I’d like to see these guys get agressive with a new beer some day

Jmichael (529), Asheville, North Carolina, USA May 7, 2008 poured a pale clear gold with mild white head. slight initial malt aroma that was quickly unnoticable after the first sip. is very light and subtle, but a very easy sessionable grab and goes down fast and easy, good if you are distracted to consider too much about the taste of your beer, it is not bad, just light and sessionable and it serves its pourpose well. durhambeer (298), Durham, North Carolina, USA May 3, 2008 Sampled at the Raleigh WBF, waaaaay too far into the afternoon. My notes say that it was hoppy for a lager, closer to a pale ale... but this contrasts with the other two ratings so far. Anyway, in a relatively drunken state, this was pretty good.
