This blond ale pours a light gold color from the tap at the brewpub. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied blonde ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a touch of bread. Mild slightly spicy hops. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this one. Light and crisp, with a nice snappy hop bite. Nothing fancy, but a pretty good session beer. Sampled at 2008 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam.

Yellow, white head. My review was trying to dance around the fact that it’s actually, well, bland. There, I said it. AB&P makes a lot of great, interesting beers, but this isn’t one of ’em. Sampled at the Raleigh WBF.

Deep gold with creamy white head and lace. Light caramel malt and earthy hops. Nice bitter finish, caramel malt, and a floral funk. Light medium bodied and a bit thin.

Draught at the Coxe Ave. location. Pours very cloudy straw yellow with tiny white head. The aroma is light lemon and straw with some doughiness. The flavor is much lemon zest, raw wheat, Tang, and a pancake-like maltiness. Nothing to rave about, but decent.
