| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2008 I was surprised how much I enjoyed this one. Light and crisp, with a nice snappy hop bite. Nothing fancy, but a pretty good session beer. Sampled at 2008 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Earlier Rating: 4/28/2008 Total Score: 2.8 Yellow, white head. My review was trying to dance around the fact that it’s actually, well, bland. There, I said it. AB&P makes a lot of great, interesting beers, but this isn’t one of ’em. Sampled at the Raleigh WBF. Golden in the glass with a creamy white head that leaves good lace behind. Orange peel hop aroma. The flavor finds a nice hoppy citrus. Medium body, crisp, and medium bitter throughout. Very decent. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Brewer’s Jam. Pours golden with a white head. Wow. I was really surprised to find distinct American hop character in the aroma. It’s not overwhelming by any stretch of the imagination, but a definite profile of lemon, grass, grapefruit, and herbal stank is present. The mouthfeel is quite light which compliments the zesty citrusy flavor. Hints of lemon, wood, and grapefruit are noted along with the crisp body. I was really impressed with this offering. Asheville Brewing claims this is a lager, though I couldn’t personally identify it as such. This is underrated. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 3, 2008 Sampled at the Raleigh WBF, waaaaay too far into the afternoon. My notes say that it was hoppy for a lager, closer to a pale ale... but this contrasts with the other two ratings so far. Anyway, in a relatively drunken state, this was pretty good. wcampbell (584), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 28, 2009 The menu said that this beer was 3.2% alcohol. Very good for a low alcohol beer. Crisp and clean taste. Mild maltiness with some minor spiciness and hops in the finish. Grainy flavor throughout. A little boring, but was good to cool off with after hot food. darn1207 (667), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
