Appearance: Deep amber with a small, foamy, off white head. Pretty good head retention.
Aroma: Very light nose. Green, herbal notes along with some over roasted notes.
Taste: Malt forward with notes of caramel and toast. A very light bitterness helps to balance things.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium-light, slightly watery mouthfeel. Short finish.
Overall: Lacking a little body, this one is thin on the tongue. Still, it comes across as a table beer that is highly sessionable.
Rebuy: No, this one didn’t do much for me. BeerandBlues2 (3223), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
