| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Draft--Good brew, slightly above average stout. Fairly typical stout with a black color and a brown head. Aroma was mostly coffee and the taste follow the aroma with some chocolate. I ended up with the stout because the other beers were out due to the ’hop shortage." What’s up with this, other brewers are still in business, so perhaps we just need to pay more for the beer. tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2007 Draught. Pours on the black side of brown with a small beige head. The aroma is cold coffee, with maybe some caramel notes. The flavor is coffee and toffee with some berries and some grain. The finish is bittersweet chocolate. Disembodied bitterness floats around. Ok, but not outstanding. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Draft at APBC. Opaque black pour, dark brown thick head, mostly lasting. Retention on this is the best of the beers sampled here. Soft blended aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, smokiness and hops. Flavor is more of the same, with additions of smores and some stale coffee(light). Palate is medium, as is the length of the finish. Pretty tasty, just a little off the mark.
