On tap at the brewpub. Straw gold pour with a thin white head. Light grassy citrus hop aroma. Spicy bitter hop taste with a nice malt presence. Could be more floral, but still tasty.

On tap at Bonnaroo. Poured a copper orange. Aroma was light but hoppy. Flavor was surprisingly smooth for an IPA. Not too bitter. Good balance.

This Scottish Ale pours a medium amber color from the tap at the brewpub. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is mild malts with some breadiness. A light bodied Scottish Ale. The malts are caramel and sweet, touch of smoke. The hops are earthy. It a really light bodied Scottish ale, but I guess it was brewed that way. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

pours a pleasent golden colour, with a fluffy and bitter head. the taste does indeed start off with a touch of sweetness and ends crisp with a lemon like hop taste.

Draft at the Raleigh WBF. Golden-orange pour. Fresh hops, and a pleasant hoppy skunkiness and nice citrus notes. Very fresh. Tasty!

On draft at the brewpub. Golden with amber hues and a nice big white head. Citrus and pine aromas. A nice malty backbone in the flavor to balance the hops. Pretty good brewpub IPA.

Tap - Having had this beer several times over the years, is can go either way. This brewery does not make consistent beer. Pours into an deep orange color with a small frothy head. Piney hop aromas, with a pretty well balanced malt backbone, just not a very strong one, which is fine because the ops are not at present overwhelming. Finishes really thin, and does not leave me wanting more.
