| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 3, 2008 This Scottish Ale pours a medium amber color from the tap at the brewpub. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is mild malts with some breadiness. A light bodied Scottish Ale. The malts are caramel and sweet, touch of smoke. The hops are earthy. It a really light bodied Scottish ale, but I guess it was brewed that way. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2008 On draft at the brewpub. Golden with amber hues and a nice big white head. Citrus and pine aromas. A nice malty backbone in the flavor to balance the hops. Pretty good brewpub IPA. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Tap - Having had this beer several times over the years, is can go either way. This brewery does not make consistent beer. Pours into an deep orange color with a small frothy head. Piney hop aromas, with a pretty well balanced malt backbone, just not a very strong one, which is fine because the ops are not at present overwhelming. Finishes really thin, and does not leave me wanting more.
