Cask gravity, ’All Creatures Great and Small’ festival, The Mercahnt’s Inn, Rugby. Beer of the festival for me. Slighty murky headless ruby, but fine condition with swilling. Conifer and sweaty citrus aroma with passion fruit and almond. Mouth oak, deceptive Thornbridge-like grapefruit and orange zest, husky underpinning malts, hint of choc. Lots of cherry and booze, carried with finesse. Brewer to watch.
