reakt (855), Greater London, England Apr 24, 2007 Updated: Sep 1, 2007 Bottle from Sainsburys. Pale yellow with a thin white ring that remains inside the glass. Average cider smell...Sweet medicinal apple vinegar nose but the taste is actually quite nice. Crisp and appley sweet with a peary note...Very, very sweet but still not as artificial tasting as some. Syrupy swallow but thin underneath. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it but if it was there I’d have it again...
Miksu (1348), Jyväskylä, Finland Oct 28, 2008 Draught at Walgren’s, Porvoo. Pale yellow color. Light dry apple aroma. Dryish tart apple flavor with hints of wood. Dry, tart and sulphury finish. Pleasant but somewhat one dimensional. HogTownHarry (3361), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Sep 25, 2008 On tap at The Jerusalem Tavern. Poured pale clear yellow with no head, and minimal bubbling (3-). Tart apple and white wine aroma, with a slight hint of vinegar. Quite a pleasant taste, light, crisp sweet apple with an admix of what seemed like ripe McIntosh apple skins, mid-dry, with some, but not much, alcohol. Slightly weak-bodied, slick and dryly astringent in the finish - a very nice drinkable cider (no ugly aftertaste). touchpink (8), Rupert, British Columbia, Canada does not count Aug 7, 2008 Consumed at THE CUCKFIELD in England. Very strong aroma of apples...much like apple pie. Sweet taste with a slightly bitter finish. Definetly worth a taste.
