500 ml bottle, as Aspall Classic Organic Suffolk Cyder. ABV is 7.0%. Pours very fizzy with a big but very short-lived head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Nice aroma of cider apples, hints of oak and sulphur. The flavour is crisp and dry, cider apples of course, again with notes of oak and sulphur. Probably best with food.

bottle from work. Golden colour, good fine carbonation. sweet apple bouquet with a hint of cellar. sweet start but generally very dry in flavour, almost like asteely chardonnay sparkling, good natural apple notes. very dry metallic finish.

Pours a gold color with a bubbly white head. Aroma of apples and champagne. Flavor of apples and honey. A bit dry and very much like champagne. Pretty nice and easy drinking.

Bottle at The Salt House in Galway. Pours clear yellowish gold body. Aroma is champagne and apple. Taste is great - champagne characteristics and apple of course.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Pale gold with moderate carbonation. Straight down the middle between sweet and dryness in both aroma and flavour, with a some juicy apples and a lingering, dryish finish. Ok.

Botella, shared with the mrs. Clear nice golden colour. Good apple tart fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of apples, sweet and tart with a dry fruity finish. Tasty cider indeed.

$6.25 for a cute long neck green bottle from New Beer. "BBEMar097085". I think these are about $8-9 at Whole Foods, but they’re probably a little fresher. Sulfites kill good cider, forget what Mother Earth tells you. Oraganic... whatever. Poured into an Allagash tulip after a strong rinsing off of crap beer. Spritzy, excited pour that vanishes just as soon as it came. I’ve probably never had a shinier beverage. Pretty much a clear pale gold that really glows. Constant stream of CO2. I can smell big pear notes from a couple feet away, but that proves to be only temporary. Smell is baked, buttered apples, with a little preservative. Anticipated tartness. Euro carmelized musk. Faint alcohol. Once I begin feeding myself, sulfites seem to establish themselves early. Big white wine-ish notes(& alcohol), macerated apples, resulting in a reserved/muted apple taste. Buttery, but finishes very dry. Watered down ginger ale sweetness. Crisply carbonated, bigger average green tartness, & just a faint note of vinegar. I wouldn’t pay the price for it again. Questionably better the half the generic six pack ciders available around here. Though I do faintly remember some of the other Aspall varieties being much more pleasant. We’ll see.

Bottle Pours with a quick to fade white head over a burnt golden body. Aroma of dry apples and cork. Not very complex. Taste has medium residual sugars, dry (non fruity) flavor with apple character, light barnyard. Very drinkable. Aspall seams to be very good in my book for a mass market cider (beats the pants off of Woodchuck and Strongbow in actually being a real cider). Lively, forced carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.
