Nov 28, 2005 Updated: Dec 1, 2005Not as bad as I expected. Smells very faintly of toasted malt/ chocolate and some funkier foot aroma. A decent creamy head was nice. I do agree with others in saying it seemed very unbalanced. I didn’t really mind it though. Some bitterness, sweet malt, and very little bit of chocolate flavor.

May 17, 2002 Pre-bottled Black & Tan’s pale in comparison to the real thing. This is a nice beer, sooth, but is lacking the ’kick’ of a real B&T. Decent beer.

Sep 16, 2007 Had on 8/30/2000. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a bright amber brown. Carbonation is good with a good head. Taste is light and crisp. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down with a quenching feel. Finish is a light malt flavor backed by a mild bitterness.

Aug 20, 2006 Medium brown with little head. Sweet, too sweet, with no hops or anything else. Not offensive, just poorly executed.

Sep 7, 2004 Bottle: dark orange, ugly shade. Chocolatey nose, some dishrag and burnt rubber aromas. Dry cocoa on the outer edges of my tongue, bitter unbalanced mess.
